The "13 Keys to the White House" is a system for predicting the outcome of U.S. presidential elections. Developed by Professor Allan Lichtman and Vladimir Keilis-Borok, the system consists of 13 true/false statements that are used to determine the likelihood of the incumbent party winning the election. The keys are based on various factors, including economic indicators, policy changes, social unrest, and foreign or military failures. Lichtman has been correctly predicting elections with this model since 1984.
